Honoring the Earth

“Water, Water Everywhere but not a Drop to Drink.” This quote began my article in the Syracuse Law Review back in the late ‘80s, and it continues to remain relevant. In honor of our oh so critical fresh waters, I wanted to alert everyone to the 2021 Global Freshwaters Summit that starts tomorrow. Check here for more information and to register. The summit also includes a Virtual Film Fest highlighting inspiring documentaries on our waters.

This is but one of the many workshops, webinars and other events honoring the US’ 51st Earth Day, the earth and our role in it. Now’s the time to take advantage of the many opportunities to get motivated and take action to save our planet, from climate change and many other threats. The challenges are interrelated, so tackling one helps fight the others. Let’s get out there and get to work!
